This books sounds amazing. Working at CASA, I hear stories about kids and "frosty" homes all the time. Yesterday, a volunteer shared that when a child's parent finally relinquished custody - meaning the child will live with her aunt permanently - the girl said: "Does that mean if my mommy messes up I won't ever have to move again?" Yes, that's what it means. Thanks for chatting about great kids' books! (And thanks for the CASA donation!) Wow! This books sounds amazing.
